Darth Cheney shoots a man

Just when you think it can't get any weirder...

NY Times: Cheney accidentally shoots a fellow hunter

He has failed to shoot straight with the American people for five years, so this is no surprise.

This is a really sad thing for the poor guy who got shot but I could not help but laugh my ass off anyway.

MORE: Cheney was hunting without a $7 license, for which he received a "minor warning" even after shooting someone. It's GOOD to be the VP.

I heard that if you do not have that license (I think it's a stamp on the license), you are considered a poacher.

I also like the driving aspect of this hunting expedition. Who drives when they hunt? Oh, I know. Guys who go to ranches where they pen down the animals until some well-to-do "hunter" pays big bucks to shoot the animals in the "wild".

The elephant in the room (so to speak) is how many PBRs the Veep had. Why did he not meet with the police or show his face at the hospital until the next day?

My husband, years and years ago, chased down poachers driving all over OUR land & frshly planted fields . He went out in a truck, with a spotlight, and yep- a gun in the rack (cause poachers GENERALLY have guns too). Don't the poachers report my husband for "hunting out of season," (hunting them) and the game commision gives him -my husband a 500+ fine (spotlight & gun out of season). Later they wanted us to "cooperate" with a poacher investigation (e.g can we drive all over your fields, too?). Yeah, Uh Huh -NOT. Then we were the "dicks." Welcome to government red tape. It's all who you know.
